The low lying and estuarine coastal tract are structurally complicated, geomorphologically diverse, environmentally fragile, physically vulnerable to phenomenal hazards and culturally noteworthy so far as the development and spreading out of human habitation is rapidly going on in the coastal zone. Coastal issues and there management is now a burning question in human civilization with a region having vulnerable situation in the form of low lying unconsolidated substrate of deltaic coast together with the frequent presents of coastal hazards like tropical cyclone. The present book provides an outline of coastal issues and their management options of low lying deltaic coastal tract of Odisha coast. Which can be simplify transversely with space and time scales.
