Bhavani V. Sankar, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He has published over 300 articles in journals and conference proceedings and is a Fellow of ASME, Founding Member and Fellow of the American Society for Composites, and Associate Fellow of the AIAA.
