Octavo/8vo, measures around 4 7/8" by 7 1/2" by 1 1/8". Pagination: viii, 279pp with 145 heraldic plates at rear at rear. Indigo cloth binding, with blindstamped borders to boards and gilt lettering decoration to spine. Signs of wear, scuffing, some rubbing at edges and on hinges. Tearing to hinges and a little to head and tail of spine. Some marking, though reasonably clean for age. Bumped corners. Slackness to binding, a bit of strain to textblock but holding. Page edges browned, scuffed and otherwise marked. Previous owner inscription to verso of front free endpaper. A little foxing to extremities and occasional other marking to page surfaces but generally clean, with no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
