About the Author

Shawn Loewen is Professor of MATESOL and Second Language Studies at Michigan State University and Associate Editor of The Modern Language Journal. He is also co-editor (with Masatoshi Sato) of The Routledge Handbook of Instructed Second Language Acquisition (2017) and Evidence-Based Second Language Pedagogy: A Collection of Instructed Second Language Acquisition Studies (2019).
