This was prepared at a time of improving relations between Iraq and the US, to provide basic information to personnel participating in the Air University Allied Officer Sponsorship Program. Blue printed wraps 15x23cm. 4pp containing brief notes on area and topography, climate, Baghdad, population, language, economy, trade, transport, history (since WW1), national holidays, national heroes (naming al-Ghazali, al-Rafasi and al-Zahawi), religion, and customs and traditions. Bound in at the end is a folding map (Edition 1-AMS). Very good, with wraps tanning at the edges.
