One a copy of Frank Barber's letter to William Waples (also a freemason and addressed as 'brother'). In it Brother Barber talks about marks he saw on Buckingham Palace stone following some war damage and illustrates them. Brother William Waples thanks him and says he has placed them in his permanent collection. There are some additional pencil annotations to the endpapers and three rub marks to the front endpaper where a former label has been removed. Also there is a bookmark of the 'Mark General Board' pasted to the verso of the half-title page. No jacket. Some light uniform fading to the cloth spine. A little spotting to the endpapers.
