8vo 8" - 9" tall; 306 pages; 5th edition, translated from the last edition of the Latin. Bound in modern plain paper wraps over a complete and snug text block. [Blank], xii, 306, [2(ads)], blank pp. Several cursory period ownership names in manuscript to the front blank; manuscript errata notes in two lines to the top edge of the rear blank. Illustrated throughout with woodcut figures and diagrams. Pages supple. clean and bright. Plain paper wraps are tasteful and professionally applied. Very well preserved, though in want of a proper casing. G++ thus.
