Marco is a pseudonym, a pun on the title. Though his actual polo-playing skills were reported to be unexceptional, Mountbatten understood the technique of the game brilliantly, and this has become a classic book on the sport. Includes black & white photogravure plates. I remember when I first started to play polo . . .
