An Introduction to the Theory and Practice of Plane and Spherical Trigonometry, and the Stereographic Projection of the Sphere: Including the Theory . With Their Practical Applications to the Men

This book provides a comprehensive guide to trigonometry, introducing the study of angles and triangles through the lens of logarithms and their practical applications, useful for students across disciplines. The author includes logarithmic solutions for various cases of oblique-angled spherical triangles, enriching the theoretical study with examples of real-world applications. This book presents practical rules for solving all the different cases of oblique-angled plane triangles, with their application by logarithms. The author explores astronomical problems like finding true altitude, determining a star's right ascension and declination, and more, providing a foundation for further exploration in trigonometry's various applications.
