Invaders of the Heart

Highly Commended, 2008 IP Picks Best Poetry Award. Accomplished poetry from a veteran poet that takes us to such diverse destinations as the Abrolhos Islands off WA, a coal mining region, the Hunter, NSW, and a remote New Zealand tidal river valley. Whatever the direction, and there are many, this poetry looks at paths of human endeavour and its traps. ‘Lee Knowles, is a poet who creates her own world...she deserves to be much better known.’ – Geoff Page
