His extensive career spans multiple roles including the current role as Assistant Professor in the Directorate of Extension Education and service at various research and educational institutes such as the Centre of Excellence in Millets, Tiruvannamalai, Horticultural College and Research Institute for Women, Trichy and the ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Vellore.

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Jaisridhar has delivered a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, organized educational tours, and guided numerous students, including postgraduate research. His scholarly contributions include six books, several chapters, and a plethora of research papers and e-learning resources.
