Inventions (Spring Street Discover)

You don’t have to be an expert, or even an adult, to come up with a cool and useful invention.

A whistlestop tour of some of the world’s greatest inventions, including fun things like LEGO, roller skates, and balloons; things invented by young people (earmuffs, Popsicles, the trampoline); printing, photography, phones, computing, gaming, the internet, going wireless, power, self-driving cars, flight, and medical advances (artificial organs, contact lenses, hearing aids); things that keep us safe (CCTV); things that make life easier (microwaves, fridges, and freezers); and foods such as popcorn and ice cream!

This is the sixth title in the Spring Street Discover series, which features striking artwork, bold design, and 48 pages of illustrated facts.
