O processo de dopagem ser� utilizado para melhorar as propriedades do metal, de modo a que o cord�o de soldadura d� a m�xima resist�ncia. Ap�s a realiza��o de v�rias experi�ncias experimentais, verificou-se que a amostra de alum�nio dopada com Pb (chumbo) e soldada com um perfil de ferramenta cil�ndrico d� o valor m�ximo de microdureza, bem como de resist�ncia � tra��o. No entanto, verifica-se uma redu��o dos valores de microdureza e de resist�ncia � tra��o se o alum�nio for dopado com zinco met�lico.
