An Investigation of the Design, Construction and Operation of Lift Bridges in the United States of America and Canada in 1937

Report to the Dept. of Public Works of a trip to the U.S. and Canada to study lift bridges. Some bumping to corners with some light crsing through the top corners of the leaves, and a short cut in the spine. An ink stain on the bottom of front cover goes through narrowly to the edges of the leaves. Some old moisture damage (probably from the ink stain) to bottom corner of the first 25-30 leaves. Two or three leaves have shortish tears to the edges. Any other imperfections minor/negligible. Condition Fair to Good. Lots of black and white photos and technical drawings. 121 pages.
