An Ionian Adventure

"A rip-roaring tale of dirty doings at sea."

In Peter Barber’s second book, we rediscover Tim, the hero of Concrete Jungle, now in his retirement taking a sailing trip in the Greek Islands with his erstwhile assistant, Kimberley.

"The desperation of people trying to escape from their homes in North Africa for the supposed safety of Europe makes them easy prey for unscrupulous men who are only too keen to take their money, and then leave them to the mercy of the sea. When Tim and Kimberley pick up a body at sea, their idyllic sailing holiday soon becomes a terrifying nightmare. Set against a back drop of modern Greece and the beautiful islands and coves, so popular with summer sailors, Tim and Kimberley must fight for their lives."

Peter Barber writes knowledgeably about his subject, calling on his passion for sailing and his love of the Greek islands. He conjures up the beauty of the Ionian Sea and islands in an adventure that keeps the reader engrossed and wanting more.
