Iowa [W]rites of Spring

Winter loosens its iron grip as spring unfurls. Creatures and roots awaken from hibernation. The rising sun promises life with the scent of churned soil and floral perfumes. From loss and grief comes a rebirth of both body and spirit. Even in the darkest moments, hope emerges.

This new anthology from The Writers' Rooms community demonstrates our artists' imaginations when faced with the renewal of Spring. In story, poetry, and art, Iowa [W]rites of Spring presents an exploration of how new relationships can sprout through tragedy and how the changing seasons dance a tango between cold and warmth.

From humorous to hopeful, all the way to mournful and stark, Iowa [W]rites of Spring takes you on a journey through the ingenious imaginations of our literary community. With their contributions, they give expression to our relationship to Spring in all its glorious variety and forms.
