Ironbark (Paperback or Softback)

For fans of Matthew Reilly, Lee Child — and anyone who ever wanted Die Hard in rural New South Wales (yeah, you know you did).

Weekend detention was meant to keep Dave Callahan out of trouble. Instead, it exposes him to a secret scrawled on the wall of a prison cell — a map, crafted in crayon and smeared with blood and grime, pointing to a fortune in black opals and perhaps something even more dangerous. Word spreads fast, and soon bikers, bent cops, and a ruthless billionaire are closing in, each willing to kill to claim what’s hidden.

What follows is a violent chase across New South Wales — from the Hunter Valley backroads to the haunted heart of the Pilliga — as Dave is dragged deeper into a fight he never wanted. With everything on the line, survival means outlasting enemies who will stop at nothing, and facing the dark history that refuses to stay buried.

Ironbark is a gritty, fast-paced Australian thriller — packed with outback atmosphere, sharp-edged action, and a story that won’t let go until the final page.
