The Irritable Working Woman's Cookbook (Paperback or Softback)

Why is this cookbook different from all other cookbooks? Because it is aimed at the one overlooked population in our global community - irritable working women. They cook, but on occasion without the customary good grace implied in most cookbooks. There are cookbooks for nail-biting newlyweds, raising your children to win the Nobel Prize, for religious purists, vegetarians and vegans. But these worthy tomes fail to address the humour of the people who have to do the work. The Irritable Working Woman's Cookbook offers a fresh approach to a sometimes stale topic. Here are recipes for women who work; with soul food from the author's homesick Scottish granny, to her resourceful Lithuanian grandmother. There are mouth watering, traditional Jewish delicacies, fast and furious cooking, diet-defying dishes, delectable desserts and heavenly cakes that will make you turn cartwheels and the pages in search of more.
