Isabela's Revenge

It is 1968, and the Vietnam War rages. The ancient Taino Immortals want no part of human conflict, but one of their own ruthlessly exploits the war for immense wealth. The task of stopping him-and rescuing innocent lives caught in the crossfire-falls to another: Dr. Domingo Domo.

Far from the jungle heat, Dr. Domo's life in Moravian Falls is orderly and peaceful again. Juggling an orphanage of twelve children, a rescued baby elephant, and the complicated affections of seven women, he is unprepared for the divine storm gathering above him. His nemesis is moving the pieces on the board, leveraging the bank to foreclose on Dr. Domo while he is away.

What pushes Isabela-to the edge? Can Domingo make it back alive before he loses everything he built? The fate of mortals and immortals alike rests on his shoulders.
