Isdn: A Practical Guide to Getting Up and Running

ISDN is an overnight success in the US - after 15 years in development and a decade of deployment in Europe. Equipment vendors are rushing to support it. Telephone companies are selling it for every size application. ISDN lines are now affordable. Even residential customers are targeted for telecommuting and Internet access. If you want to understand how this digital technology will affect you, your network, or how your company does business, read this book. You don't have time for the 5-foot pile of standards documents that describe ISDN, and only equipment engineers and designers need that much detail. Here's the one book that gives you, the network operator or communications manager, just what you need (and maybe a bit more) to evaluate ISDN for your own business and talk with confidence to carriers and other vendors.
