Color pictorial map (10 3/4" x 8 1/2")). Colors are bright and strong. Small scrape in upper left corner else a fine copy. Charming pictorial map that locates some of the key landmarks and scenic areas of the Big Island. This map is part of a series representing the principal islands of Hawaii, including Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii. Ruth Taylor White (1896–1985) was an American cartographer, illustrator, and author, renowned for her whimsical pictorial maps, or "cartographs," that captured the cultural and economic essence of various regions with vibrant, humorous illustrations. Her sister was Della Taylor Hoss, a noted artist known for paintings of Bristlecone Pines. trees of Yosemite and more. Her cartographic maps include several Hawaiian Islands, several California areas, major Philippine Islands, the USA and others.

Shipping terms
All domestic orders include FREE USPS TRACKING and are usually shipped within 24 hours via Priority or Media Mail.
Overseas orders shipped via USPS Airmail at cost unless other arrangements made. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
