Item description from seller

Pictorial map. Page measures 8" x 10 1/2" This charming and whimsical 1935 pictorial map by famous illustrator and artist Ruth Taylor White was commissioned by the Hawaii Tourist Bureau. The map depicts the island of Oahu, with the city of Honolulu labeled. Major roads and railways are drawn. Delightful illustrations throughout depict the people, famous landmarks, topographical features, crops, animals, cultural stereotypes, etc. The map is in good condition, with minor creasing to left margin and bottom right corner. Ruth Taylor White was one of the most prolific pictorial map makers whose unique style made her maps some of the most collected. This map was issued as part of "Our U.S.A. A Gay Geography", published by Little, Brown, and Company.
