Bran rallies the greatest warriors of the Great Circle to fight their mysterious enemies, yet his most unlikely allies may prove to be the key to winning this war: Lucia, her strangely gifted stable boy, and a mute selkie with secrets of her own.

As the dead rise and terror mounts, Bran goes where no living man should—the Underworld. To save his people, he makes a pact with Arawn, God of Death.
