About the Author

After a long period of curiosity about the Books of the Apocrypha, I finally downloaded a copy off of the internet and the first section I turned to was the book of Maccabees. It gave brief mention of a letter penned by Jeremiah the prophet and sent to the Jews exiled in Babylon. It spoke of hiding the articles of worship from the Temple in a cave on Mount Moriah, that is now part of Jordan. Further research also produced mention by the historian, Josephus, in his writings concerning this time period. The story spurred my imagination and was the beginnings of the story of The Prophet's Secret. Much of this is explained in the book and writing it was an enjoyable experience. I hope readers enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the writing.
