The dark green cover has the title in light green on the spine the title has worn off. The corners and spine ends are a bit shelf worn; there is a small spot on the bottom of the cover. The end-papers are bright and clean; there is an advertisement tipped in there. The frontispiece in color, is of a man and woman(man looking at the clock). There at least 10 wonderful black and white illustrations throughout the book.
