Italian Greyhound Dog: The Complete Handbook On How To Raising And Caring For Italian Greyhound Dog

The Italian Greyhound is a miniature dog breed that stands out for its refined good looks and slim build. It belongs to the group of dogs called sight hounds, who use their eyes rather than their noses to track prey. The Italian Greyhound is a small, sleek dog with excellent bones and a short, smooth hair. One of the smallest kind of sighthounds, if not the smallest.
•The name of these canines reflects the elegance and poise with which they carry themselves. The term "Italian" is used because they are commonly associated with Renaissance-era Italy and its aristocracy. Although much smaller than true Greyhounds, the name "Greyhound" honors the dog's sight hound ancestry.
• Italian Greyhounds are well-liked as pets because of their amiable and placid demeanor. Their agility and speed are well-known, and they may be demonstrated in sports like lure coursing. Small and with thin coats, they are vulnerable to the cold and may need extra protection while traveling to colder regions.
