And Then There Were More

The saga of Cliff Marks continues from a nomadic construction worker to the clandestine recipient of a powerful brain implant that enabled him to listen to people’s minds, revive comatose patients, solve cold case criminal investigations, and form a successful detective agency. At his wife’s urging, Marks agrees to run for Congress to promote Syntil’s political agenda and to prevent the corporate sponsor from turning off his implant.

Upon his election to the US House of Representatives, and later as Speaker of the House, Cliff Marks sets out to achieve his goal of making homelessness a national priority. His brain implant enables him to learn the dirty secrets of his fellow House members, leveraging this information to support his mission. His beautiful and wealthy wife, Gloria, remains his equal partner — even more so when her long-idled implant begins functioning. Gleason, their extraordinary Washington DC mansion, has an appealing allure for President Seaton, who ends up including the Markses in his inner circle…right before he and his VP are faced with dire situations and consequences.

Will Cliff overcome his reluctance to progress from a regional to a national politician? Can his implant help President Seaton lead the country?
