Jarabo era la oveja negra de una distinguida y acaudalada familia cuya vida err�tica y disoluta lo llev� por la senda del su abuelo hab�a sido miembro del tribunal supremo, mientras que �l acabar�a siendo condenado a muerte por ese mismo tribunal tras protagonizar el juicio m�s c�lebre y publicitado del franquismo. Adicto al alcohol y a las drogas, aficionado a las armas y mujeriego empedernido, Jarabo se educ� en su Madrid natal, donde pas� la guerra civil, para luego darse a una vida de excesos en Puerto Rico que lo llev� a prisi�n en Estados Unidos. En 1950 regres� a Madrid, donde ocho a�os m�s tarde cometer�a uno de los cr�menes m�s sonados de la Espa�a negra.
