JK Books - Restorations and Rescue Books

My bookstore is, for the most part, books I have personally bought over the past few years. My interests run to Books about Books, Bookbinding and Science Fiction, so the collection is mostly that. However I will pick up anything that looks interesting in hopes that someone else will find it so too. WHAT IS A "RESCUEBOOK"? It is a word I coined myself. I have not seen it elsewhere. We have all heard of Rescue Dogs or Rescue Horses. RescueBooks are similar. Any book tattered or broken and yet interesting, beautiful or meaningful deserves a chance at a second life. I keep an eye out for such things and personally repair and refurbish them as best I can so that the book has a new lease on life, and can give enjoyment to new generations. A RescueBook might be Old or New, First Edition or not, Fiction or Non-Fiction, known or obscure. Check my listings using Keyword RescueBook to see what is available.
