THE JODE: Part 1: General Ygl & the Genie

General Ygl's Inner Earth has been turned upside-down to his horror. Follow his compatriots and him on an adventure of discovery about the infamous Jode in a world of gods and goddesses, belief and disbelief, politics and religion; and, divine right in the embattled continent of Zaendara. Divine right, the god-given gifts granted by the Divinity to each royal family. Can they overcome their frailties before Xurchon (the God of Evil) and Emperor Rondo can usurp Zaendaran peace? Can Ygl rise as a good leader? What does the Jode have to do with any of it?

PJ Selarom, an Air Force veteran, is a lover of mythologies, inclusivity, and comics. He ventures to combine these ideals in his wonderfully epic dark adventure of love, religion, and politics. He's always loved writing even during elementary school when he wrote "Spider's Birthday Party". During his middle school years he wrote his own musical with no music and won an award for storytelling Dr. Seuss' "Bartholomew & the Gobbledygook". This series was initiated when the author was in 9th grade and has evolved, as the author has, nearly 35 years later. What an evolution!! He has a medical degree, won awards in acting, was in English honors, and resides in a treehouse somewhere in the country taking care of his baby unipegon. He can be reached at PJSELAROM.COM.
