This poem, in the vein of a Struwelpeter tale, was written 50 years ago by Jamie and Robin McEwen, Jamie illustrated it and with the encouragement of their family tried to get it published. "Now the munificence of their nephew Johnny Hesketh, the inimitable 'captain', finally sees this acomplished." 526 copies printed by Martino Mardersteig at the Stamperia Valdonega, Verona and bound in McEwen tartan. 500 numbered copies for sale, of which this is 119, and 26 lettered copies for private distribution. The most minor of scuffing to extremities. Charmingly printed and delightfully illustrated. A terrific tale and a very good item indeed.
