A JOURNEY THROUGH SPIRITUAL WARFARE: DEVOTIONAL 2 (NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER: MORNING MANNA DEVOTIONALS)

The battle is real—but you were never meant to fight it in your own strength.

In Not by Might, Nor by Power: Morning Manna—A Journey Through Spiritual Warfare, Pastor W. C. S. Taylor leads readers through a practical, Scripture-centered study of spiritual warfare and the full armor of God.

Based primarily on Ephesians 6, these devotionals explain how believers can recognize the true enemy, stand firm against spiritual attacks, and rely on the power of God rather than human strength. Pastor Taylor begins with the foundations of believing God and surrendering your will to Him before guiding you through each piece of spiritual armor.

Along this journey, you will learn how to:

• Believe God rather than simply believing Him for a desired outcome
• Submit your mind, plans, and will to God
• Identify the true enemy behind spiritual conflict
• Stand firm when temptation, hardship, and fear arise
• Put on the full armor of God
• Protect your heart with Christ’s righteousness
• Extinguish the enemy’s lies with the shield of faith
• Guard your mind with the assurance of salvation
• Use God’s Word as the sword of the Spirit
• Strengthen your spiritual life through prayer and alertness

With an honest, energetic, and conversational approach, Pastor Taylor connects the armor of God to everyday battles involving fear, guilt, shame, anxiety, temptation, broken relationships, discouragement, and attacks on your identity.

This devotional is not about becoming stronger through willpower. It is about believing God, submitting to Him, standing in His power, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the way you think and live.

Read one message each day, reflect on its Scripture, and begin putting its principles into practice. Get dressed in the full armor of God, stand your ground, and face the battle with faith.

It is not by might, nor by power, but by God’s Spirit.
