A beautifully illustrated animated telling of the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk. With pop-ups. Pop ups with moving figures, edited text. The classic children's tale told through illustration and six pop-up scenes, all in fine working condition. Illustrated by Vojtech Kubasta, a Czech artists and architect who created three-dimensional cards that advertised porcelain, sewing machines and pencils. In 1956, he designed his first fairy tale pop-up book: Little Red Riding Hood. Coloured illustrated paper over card. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear and the odd mark to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. All sex pop-up scenes are in excellent condition. Additional moving parts to scene one are in fine working condition. For scene four, the moving part has torn preventing movement. Could be repaired easily with tape should the reader wish. Very Good.
