On verso of front cover are printed four alphabets in different text. Illustrated with thirteen wood cuts.A very good copy. Size 100 x 65mm (4 x 2.5 inches) Provenance: From the collection of the remaining stock from the Kendrew business which was inherited by a distant family member and kept in the family through descent. James Kendrew (fl. 1803-1841) was a printer and publisher of Colliergate, York, who specialized in pamphlets and children's chapbooks. In 1841 he was succeeded by his son John Lofthouse Kendrew who sold the business in 1848. Seller Inventory # 60001832
