Add to basketA compilation of Jack’s personal notebook pages, original interviews, articles and a photographic index cross-references to the original three-volume World of Magic books. In Spring 2021, Chris Cross purchased the rights to the Jack Hughes World of Magic from Derek Lever. Along with a goldmine of Jack’s creations and related ephemera, he found a wealth of Hughes treasures including Jack’s original notebooks, that, until now, have never before been seen. A selection of his notes has been printed in this lovely book, of some 100 magical pages, filled with plenty of color photographs of Jack and his props, hand-drawn prop sketches, and a compilation of magazine appearances and interviews with the man himself. A must for anyone interested in Jack Hughes, the history of magic, or anyone who performs cabaret and parlour effects on stage! (And anyone who wants to complete their set of Hughes books!) Does not include a DVD. Inscribed and signed by the author. We are the only retailer who carries this book in the U.S. Limited numbers in stock, so place an order today!
