About the Author

Jessica Mountfield is an animator and illustrator with a love for all things squishy, character-filled, and delicious. She has directed shorts for the BBC, MTV, FX, the ICA and plenty of scientists. She’s won awards from the Royal Television Society, and lectures at the University of the Arts London. In her spare time, she makes up reasons not to practice her banjo, goes on obscenely long walks, and sings in a tone-deaf choir. She is also a proud trustee of The Best Cookie Dough Recipe Ever – available on request.
