Reprint. Octavo, pp. vii, [1], 414. Bound in cornflower blue cloth with black borders and spine titles. With the unclipped original illustrated dust-jacket. Prize plate to front paste-down, some light scattered foxing throughout, mainly to text-block edges and prelims. Top and fore-edge a little soiled and foxed. Dust-jacket soiled with some staining to spine (see photo), minor loss to spine tips and corners. Otherwise a square, tight secure, very good copy in a very good dust-jacket. Bronte's classic gothic romance, originally published under the pseudonym of Currer Bell in 1847, in the publishers' dust-jacket depicting Jane as rather coy and dowdy.
