First edition, first printing; original brown binding with silver gilt letters to front cover and spine; previous owner's pencil inscription to front end paper: "To Mr David Law with my profound devotion, Kanzour Tsutsumi" with red Japanese stamp (see images); 21 colour plates and 34 black and white plates and many wood cut; clean and tight text block with tanning to page edges. Dust jacket condition: Very Good: decorated front cover with small losses to top edge of front cover and to spine tips; some scuffing to extremities (see images). Not price clipped (no price printed).
