Tsutomu (Tom) Nakano is Professor of Organization and Strategy at the Graduate School of international Management, Aoyama Gakuin University-Tokyo. He received his PhD in sociology from Columbia University and on external faculty of the Center on Organizational Innovation, ISERP, Columbia. His research interests include valuation studies, clusters, organizations and networks, and social design. In 2015-16, he took visiting positions at Copenhagen Business School, ENS Cachan-Paris, Goethe Institute-Frankfurt, and Max Planck Institute of Social Studies-Cologne. Author of books in Japanese including Social Networks and Organizational Dynamics (Yuhikaku 2011) and Networks and Mangerial Dynamics: Strategic Designs for Social Innovation (Yuhikaku 2017).
