Takagi, Kobe, Japan," a Deluxe Edition, no colophon - not dated but ca 1919, oblong 8vo (6 1/4 x 9 in - 15.6 x 22.5 cm), English language, 50 hand colored collotype plates with captions, tissue guards between places, boards in silk (padded), all edges gilt, double string ties, folding case, unpaginated. The actual images are approximately 4 x 6 in (10.5 x 15 cm). ~ Condition. The book is in Fine condition. The slip case is in Good condition. The book has some light fraying of the cloth covers along the edges. There is a gift inscription inside the front cover and a handwritten number inside the back cover. The plates are clean and free of faults. The slip case has substanital wear and the holders for the two fasterners are missing. ~~ More information, to include digital pictures, available on request.
