Small chip on edge of first free endpaper and some scattered foxing, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by engraved title, 40 pages of plates, text figures and preliminary pages vignettes, all by author. Six short stories. a work of children's fiction by James Frank Sullivan (1852-1936), an illustrator best known as a cartoonist, being a pioneer in this field.
