Jax's Chicken Nugget Treasure Hunt: Counting, Shapes, and a Picnic Surprise (Paperback or Softback)

Jax's Chicken Nugget Treasure Hunt: Counting, Shapes, and a Picnic Surprise is an engaging early learning picture and coloring book designed for children ages 3 to 7. When a mysterious treasure map appears beneath his picnic lunch, four-year-old Jax sets off on an exciting outdoor adventure with his cousins and their playful dog, Barkley. As they follow clues through a campsite filled with swings, slides, stepping stones, and sandy trails, young readers are invited to participate in counting objects, identifying shapes, and solving simple problems alongside the characters.

Each step of the journey introduces foundational math and spatial concepts in a natural and playful way, using familiar items such as chicken nuggets, rice balls, strawberries, and apples to reinforce counting and grouping skills. Shape recognition is integrated into the environment through triangles, circles, squares, and stars, helping children connect abstract ideas to real world objects.

This 8.5 x 8.5 inch interactive story also includes bonus coloring pages and hands-on activities that extend learning beyond the page, encouraging creativity, fine motor development, and independent exploration. This story emphasizes curiosity, teamwork, and joyful discovery, making it ideal for preschool classrooms, homeschool settings, and family reading time.
