About the Author
As a former 6th grade public school teacher, I have always been interested in elementary school children. A co-worker told me of her son Jay's anxiety about starting kindergarten. I wrote this book to give him a positive picture of what that first day would be like. Jay was going to attend a parochial school in East Los Angeles. I have lived in South Pasadena for over 40 years and have three adult children.
