Cecilia Casrill Dartez holds a bachelor of arts degree from Tulane University. She completed her graduate studies in reading instruction and psychology at Tulane University and Princeton University. A certified elementary-school teacher in the state of Louisiana, Dartez worked as a teacher in New Orleans for many years. She is a popular presenter at schools, libraries, conventions, and other organizations, giving lively lectures on New Orleans and Louisiana. As a licensed New Orleans tour guide, she has led walking and riding tours throughout the city and at neighboring plantation homes.

Andy Green is a freelance commercial artist from Picayune, Mississippi. His clientele stretches through the Gulf Coast regions of Mississippi and Louisiana, and includes commercial-billboard advertising groups, auto dealerships, and building-design companies.
