This is sheet 5, only, of this large map of the Transvaal and South African Republic published in 1899. Lithographed in Switzerland by Wurster, Randegger & Cie. and printed in colour on linen. Remains of paper attachment on rear of one segment. Map is extensively creased (see photos) and has 2 small holes (bookworm?) in the Roodepoort and Vlakfontein areas (see photos), without loss of text. Area covered by the map includes Pretoria and Johannesburg.
