About the Author

Donna Daun Lester, MA, RDN, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, and licensed teacher. Donna has worked as a dietitian-nutritionist in private practice, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, as Director of Food and Nutrition Services, and as a Nutrition Educator. After graduating with honors from Queens College, Donna earned a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. The mother of two grown children, Donna lives with her husband on Long Island, in New York.
