With offices in London and Prague and projects completed in 20 countries worldwide, the book relates how Jestico + Whiles became the first practice to transfer their ownership into a trust run by and for the benefit of their staff, leading to creative working relationships with clients and unusual designs of great quality.

Martin Spring is a freelance architectural and construction journalist, writing mainly for professional and business press, such as Building, Building Design and Architect s Journal. Spring was Architectural Editor for Building Magazine for more than 30 years, writing extensively on architecture and construction both in the UK and internationally.

David Taylor is Editor of New London Quarterly, and a freelance journalist specialising in architecture, property and design. He has written for magazines including Blueprint, The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph , Wallpaper*, Building Design, Regeneration and Renewal, The Architects Journal, Independent on Sunday, Evening Standard and was editor of Retail Property Review. Taylor has contributed to a range of exhibitions and books on architecture, development and urban design.
