Deanna Stalnaker's writing career began following her retirement from nursing in 2012. The novels in her "Women of God" series have at various times been on select bestseller's lists for Christian books on Amazon. Jesus, Me & Afternoon Tea is her first venture into writing a non-fiction book and is based on her Christian background and knowledge and longing to share that inspiration with others, as well as her love of all things about tea. She is currently living in North Carolina with her husband and her younger daughter who is also a writer and a teacher. Her older daughter is married and is beginning her career as a pharmacist. She has one granddaughter.
