Jesus: An Interview Across Time

A provocative fictional interview with Jesus by a skilled contemporary interviewer.
“Without a doubt, this is one of the most exciting books I have ever read.” Robert Schuller
"Fascinating and profoundly interesting.” R.C. Sproul

Christians across the centuries have agreed-upon three basic truths: Jesus was fully God, he was fully human, and he was one person. But if Jesus was fully human (and he was), how did he experience that humanity? How did he learn (and as a human he had to learn) that he was the Messiah? What experiences did he have as a child and as a young man? Did he ever doubt? How did he experience shame, guilt, temptation, anger, and love? How could he endure the cross?

These questions and many others are answered in this provocative but plausible “interview” with Jesus. Using clues provided by Old Testament messianic prophecies and the New Testament Gospels, Hodges presents an emotionally powerful and theologically orthodox re-creation of Jesus’ life from birth to resurrection.

“A helpful new and fresh look at the incarnation and at some very ancient questions. We won’t use this book as a basis for a new theology, but the one we already have will be enriched, challenged, and deepened.” Jay Kesler, Chancellor, Taylor University

ANDREW G. HODGES, M.D., is a psychiatrist in private practice, a former clinical professor of psychiatry (UAB School of Medicine), and a noted forensic profiler. Experts including experienced FBI agents believe his unique “thoughtprint decoding” method will one day become a fixture in law enforcement much as identifying fingerprints. The author of nine books, Dr. Hodges has been interviewed extensively in the media with appearances on Fox News, CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC and Court TV.
