Rev. Dr. Rob Fennell is Associate Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology and former Academic Dean of Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax. He is an ordained minister of The United Church of Canada and served in ministry with congregations for a decade prior to teaching at AST. He is passionate about thriving local congregations and helping their leaders to increase in their effectiveness and to grow in their faithfulness. He is Founding Director of Camino Nova Scotia. His most recent books include Camino Close to Home; 31 Short Spiritual Practices; Turning Ourselves Inside Out (with Russ Daye); and Following Jesus Today (editor). As McGeachy Scholar for 2022-24, Rob is pursuing a study of pneumatology (the Holy Spirit) in the United and Uniting Churches of the World Council of Churches.
